AUSTRALIA-WIDE 18+ FESTIVAL
The Australian Union Conference is proud to host the annual CONVERGE YOUTH FESTIVAL for 2019!
We kick off the New Year with the biggest social event on your calendar! Surrounded by nature’s beauty, our campers will experience amazing speakers, uplifting worship sessions, water activities, boot camp, café and more! All of this and your powered campsite is included in your entry fee!
SATURDAY SUPPER SOCIAL: This year we’ll also be hosting a social on Saturday evening, with amazing food and light entertainment. The Lord’s Supper theme creates opportunity to meet new people in an ambient setting with some delectable food. If you have bought a Meal Package, you are already in! If you would like to join us for this evening, simply choose one of the meal packages on your registration. Alternatively, you can just select Saturday Supper Social on its own. (NB// Those who have already registered and would like to add this one-off meal, please email MelissaHill@adventist.org.au to add it to your fee payment.)

ACCOMMODATION: Pitch a tent (included in fee), hire a cabin, or stay offsite.
FOOD: Starting at $75 for a weekend package that includes 6 main meals (inc. Sabbath Supper Social!) These packages can be purchased up to 1st February to allow preparation time.
Please note that all cancellations will incur a $40 admin fee and cancellations after Friday 18th January will require a medical certificate. Cancellations from Monday 4th January will forfeit their entry fee. Further, please also note that registrations are not transferable.
The first program will start at 7:30 on Friday night. The gates and registration will be open from 2:00 pm on Friday afternoon, so come anytime after that and start setting up.

Our main speaker is Tacyana Nixon, a speaker and pastor from USA. Each night during the main program, we look forward to Tacyana challenging us with God’s Word.
Tacyana Nixon hails from Manchester, New Hampshire. She attended Andrews University and in 2013 she accepted the call to minister in the New Jersey Conference. She was the first female ever to serve in the New Jersey Conference where she pastored for 4 1/2 years. She is the former Lead Pastor of Princeton SDA Church and also ministered to Princeton University, Westminster Choir College and Rutgers University were she worked with the ACF chapter on those campuses. She is married to Michael Timothy Nixon, who serves as the Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion at Andrews University. Together they have a 3 year old daughter, Noa Elise Nixon. Pastor Nixon is currently pursuing her Masters of Divinity at Andrews University. All her hope is in Jesus and she is blessed to share that hope daily.
Simon Gigliotti is looking forward to his new appointment as Youth Director for the Greater Sydney Conference. Previously in his role as Assistant Youth Director for the Victorian Conference, he developed a passion about seeing youth ministry thrive in a local Church setting. He is married to Brittany, and in his spare time he likes to read, watch rugby league, and travel.
To make Converge affordable for everyone, the planning team has tried to keep the costs as low as possible. To do this they have set an entry cost, with additional packages that you can purchase depending on your needs.
The early bird fee for Converge is $124 AUD, and the regular cost is $174 AUD. The early bird runs out on December 3. This includes site entry, a campsite, and access to all programs onsite. It does not include meals, activities or tents/cabins. To make the event affordable, and also create that festival feel, campsites and tents are the main form of accommodation available. Within your Converge fee you receive a complementary powered campsite. This means that if you have a tent, mat and sleeping bag, it will only cost you $124 to stay for the weekend!
Mini Meal Package $75: 6 x meals. Friday dinner, Sabbath lunch, Sabbath Supper Social, Sunday lunch, Sunday dinner, Monday lunch. Each meal includes two courses and a drink.
Mini Special Diet Meal Package $90: 6 x meals. Friday dinner, Sabbath lunch, Sabbath Supper Social, Sunday lunch, Sunday dinner, Monday lunch. Each meal includes two courses and a drink. The extra cost is to cover the extra ingredients and time to prepare the customised meals.
Max Meal Package $105: 9 x meals. Friday dinner, Sabbath breakfast, Sabbath lunch, Sabbath Supper Social, Sunday breakfast, Sunday lunch, Sunday dinner, Monday breakfast, Monday lunch. Each meal includes two courses and a drink.
Max Special Diet Meal package $120: 9 x meals. Friday dinner, Sabbath breakfast, Sabbath lunch, Sabbath Supper Social, Sunday breakfast, Sunday lunch, Sunday dinner, Monday breakfast, Monday lunch. Each meal includes two courses and a drink. The extra cost is to cover the extra ingredients and time to prepare the customised meals.
Cabins for hire: There are also a few cabins available onsite, so why not get a few mates together and share the cost? The cabins are supplied with a thin doona and pillow, so you will need to bring sheets, pillow case and towel, while the superior cabins are supplied with all bedding.
